Delicia’s Farm
Bagawang, Pandan, East Catanduanes, Philippines
97 Kilometers | 3 Hours 15 Minutes
Delicia’s Farm is an emerging tourist attraction specifically established by the owner/operator, Michael Tidon, as an advocacy platform for sustainable agriculture. It uniquely features Permaculture System, a system of agricultural and social design principles centered on simulating or directly utilizing the patterns and features observed in natural ecosystems.
The design elements observable in Delicia’s Farm manifest Permaculture philosophy of working with, rather than against nature. The 4-hectare integrated farm is situated between Pandan River and the wooded forest of Bagawang. Just a mere 15-min ride from Pandan Town Center, it offers a close encounter with wildlife that abounds in the area, as well as the view of Pandan River meandering gently at a close distance. The well-thought component of the farm is a social space featuring edible landscape, a manicured lawn-area, and upon the request of our visitors, picnic tables, umbrellas and barbecue grills. The social area can easily be customized to suite a wide range of social activities, from intimate pool party to a large party.
