Parway Falls, in Barangay Tokio is one of the most famous waterfalls in Pandan, Catanduanes. It is great for adventure-seeking tourists who want to experience an enchanting moment in the rhythmic water lullabies of the falls. It is about 20 meters high and will have one gazing in amazement. Its crystal waters and thunderous downpour of water is a delight visitors cannot miss. The cascade of water pouring down into two deep mini pools is best for visitors who want to relax, swim or even cliff dive in while enjoying the best of nature.
According to local myth, Parway falls is considered enchanted. It is believed that the falls is being safeguarded by fairies or “Diwata”. Visitors must pay respect to the Diwata by simply asking permission from her before plunging to the cold water of the falls. Whether the Diwata story is true or not, nobody can resist the charming beauty of Parway Falls. This paradise is hidden, waiting to be discovered and appreciated. It is located about 22 kilometers from the town center and can be accessible by car, motorbike, tricycle or by trekking the man-made trail from the highway.
