“Dangerously beautiful”… Mambang Beach in Barangay Del Norte is one of the most beautiful secluded beaches in the municipality. It is surrounded by rock formations of different shapes – rounded, sharp, smooth and of different colors. If a visitor is lucky enough, he can get a piece of rock with fossils on it. It is home to different species of starfish and jellyfish. When the tide subsides, a sand bar extending from the beach transforms into a beautiful white gem surface reaching out to its adjacent white beach while visitors enjoy the cold, clear and crystalline waters.
Locals believed that Mambang coast is an enchanted place and visitors are not allowed to stay overnight because during high tide some parts of the beach are totally engulfed by sea water. But that was just a myth and lately adventurers camp out in tents right on the beautiful white sand beach. The place can be accessed by boat or by trekking and where frolickers can enjoy island hopping, swimming, snorkeling and simply being at this wonderful haven.
