PAGASA Weather Radar Station is placed in Barangay Buenavista, Municipality of Bato, Catanduanes. It is considered as one of the furthermost advanced radar station in the world.

It is the 8th radar station mounted in the country with fundings from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

As part of the exertions to advance the Meteorological Radar Systems in the country, these weather stations aim to efficiently lessen the fatalities brought by tropical cyclones and other severe weather events passing the country.
